Rescue charity Bristol Dogs and Cats Home has launched a new animal fostering initiative to try to manage the overwhelming number of animals being brought in.
Jess Richardson, fostering co-ordinator, said: “We are constantly overflowing with animals in desperate need of new loving homes.
“In order to ensure our doors are always open to unwanted animals, we are seeking foster carers to help provide the additional accommodation needed. ”
Fostering has been proven to help animals overcome past trauma and associated behavioural problems, also helping to avoid the stress related to life in a kennel environment…
