A charity based in Burghfield Common is calling on pet owners to keep their animals under control when walking near guide dogs.
The plea from Guide Dogs, formerly the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, follows an incident in Reading town centre on Friday, July 27, which caused a blind man to fall to the pavement.
