Dog Reunited With Family After Being Missing For 3 Years And Found 1,000 Miles From Home

A basset hound missing for three years has been reunited with her family after found 1,000 miles from home.

Despite her short legs, a heavy body and her breed’s ordinarily keen tracking nose, Molly the dog was found across multiple state lines in Prescott Valley, Arizona after running off in Fort Hood, Texas.

Molly’s owner, stationed at the Fort Hood military base, said her dog ran off from a friend’s home while she was serving in Iraq in 2009…
